“Why should Ray Fayad be elected as Tax Collector of Naugatuck?”

As a tax paying citizen of the borough, it seems to me that we, as a whole, have become to complacent. We are to willing to just settle for what we have. I think that we need a change , we need fresh, new ideas.

I have come to know Ray, and he is a man of integrity, a very hard worker and has some great plans for the tax collector office that will benefit us all.

Have you ever stood in the never ending line during the peak months, only to get frustrated, and sometimes get to the front of the line only to have them close the office? I have. Ray plans on improving wait times for us.

Have you paid your taxes on time and been upset because there are many people that are seriously delinquent, and that hurts us all? Ray has a plan to investigate and pursue collections on outstanding taxes from businesses and residents who are very delinquent and who have moved out of state.

He also plans to have a user friendly website for us.

He is a candidate who has really taken in consideration what this office needs to run more efficiently and what will ease the burden for us all.
