Man Escapes Without Injuries After Flipping Car

A man escaped uninjured after the car in which he was driving flipped over on the Route 68 bridge between Bridge and Prospect streets Tuesday afternoon.

Firefighters said the man got himself out of the 2003 Ford Taurus after it flipped on the bridge after striking a concrete barrier at 4 p.m., Fire Captain Richard Alfes said. 

The man, whose name was not immediately available, was not injured. The car was totaled.
