Man Stabs Co-Worker With Screwdriver

A Waterbury man was arrested for assault and reckless endangerment.

A Waterbury man is accused of stabbing his his co-worker in the forearm with a screwdriver at work in the Naugatuck Industrial Park on Wednesday.

Royal Murdock, 56, of 31 Rosemount St., Waterbury, was charged with first-degree reckless endangerment, second-degree assault and breach of peace.

The incident happened at 1:37 a.m. at Unimetal Factory at 1:37 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 2. Murdock was held on a $25,000 surety bond and appeared at Waterbury Superior Court on Thursday.
