Naugatuck Woman Injured After Being Pushed On the Train Tracks

The woman suffered a head injury in the fall.

In a truly scary incident, Waterbury police say, a Naugatuck woman suffered a large cut to her head after Christopher Norton, 39, of Naugatuck, allegedly pushed her from the city's train platform onto the tracks Thursday afternoon, the Waterbury Republican-American reports. 
The frightening incident occurred at 4:45 p.m. and trains had to be halted as emergency responders cared for the woman. Norton was charged with assault, breach of peace and reckless endangerment.
