Police: Naugatuck Man Steals $3,400 Dirt Bike
The following information was provided by the Naugatuck Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned, it does not necessarily equal a conviction.
A local man has been charged with stealing a $3,400 dirt bike from a victim’s garage.
Eric Santos, 22, of 75 Sunburst Road, Naugatuck, was charged with third-degree larceny, second-degree criminal mischief and third-degree burglary for stealing a 2009 Honda dirt bike. Santos was caught when someone spotted the dirt bike outside of Santos’ garage without a front fender or side number plates, according to a police report.
Santos was released on a $4,000 surety bond and will be arraigned on Aug. 22 at Waterbury Superior Court.

Linda Racan, 50, of 41 Anderson St., Naugatuck, was arrested by warrant for a domestic dispute that happened on July 27 between her and her former boyfriend.

Racan is accused of breaking glasses and throwing her ex-boyfriend’s TV onto the floor.
She was released on a promise to appear.

Adam Mastronunzio, 20, of 101 Ridge Road, Naugatuck, was charged with third-degree burglary and sixth-degree larceny. The details of his arrest were not immediately available as the report has not yet been completed.

Alfred Guggino, 34, of 151 Andrew Ave., Naugatuck, was charged with driving under the influence of drugs/alcohol. He was released on a $500 non-surety bond to be arraigned on Aug. 23 at Waterbury Superior Court.
