Police: Trio Steals $1,100 Worth of Baby Formula

Naugatuck police filed several charges recently, including one for a man who failed to comply with sex offender registration laws.

Jason Baldino, 29, of 8 Pond St., Naugatuck, was charged by an active arrest warrant for an incident that occurred Oct. 2 at McDonald’s on New Haven Road. During the incident, Baldino and two accomplices punched and kicked a man and his girlfriend during a fight, police said. They also stole the man’s wallet, police said.

Baldino was charged with second-degree assault, conspiracy at second-degree assault, first-degree robbery, second-degree reckless endangerment, conspiracy at second-degree reckless endangerment and breach of peace.

Donald Lawson, 36, of 63 Crestwood Drive, Naugatuck, was charged with failure to register as a nonviolent sex offender: crime against a minor. Police say he failed to notify the Sex Offender Registry Unit of his Internet accounts.

Shannon Camby, 22, and Tahira Stringer-Weston, 19, both of 460 South Quaker Lane, West Hartford, were charged with stealing $1,123 worth of Similac and Enfamil baby formula from Walmart, according to police. They were charged with fourth-degree larceny and conspiracy at fourth-degree larceny. They were released on respective $10,000 and $15,000 bonds and will be arraigned on Jan. 16 at Waterbury Superior Court.

Their alleged accomplice, Carven Poteat-Banks, 27, of 172 Ashley St., Hartford, was also charged with fourth-degree larceny and conspiracy at fourth-degree larceny, police said.

And Stringer-Weston was charged with two counts of second-degree failure to appear for seperate incidents.

Tricia Lush, 42, of 140 Fulkenson Drive, Waterbury, was charged with driving under the influence after trying to drive up the exit ramp onto the highway at 3:24 a.m. on Route 8 at Exit 27 South, police said.

David Lepaska, 18, of 218 Cherry St., Naugatuck, was charged with second-degree harassment: intimidation after he contacted a juvenile victim and told him to meet so they could fight, police said.

Neil Bruneau, 26, of 19 Anderson St., Naugatuck, was charged with third-degree assault after punching his roommate, police said.

Benjamin Ellis, 24, of 234 Morning Dove Road, Naugatuck, was charged with breach of peace, probation violation and failure to appear.

Faith French, 56, of 156 Grove St., Torrington, was charged with possession of a controlled substance after being found in possession of crack cocaine during a motor vehicle investigation at 9:04 a.m. on Jan. 8, police said.

Edwin Lopez, 39, of 29 Union St., Waterbury, was charged with breach of peace, second-degree unlawful restraint and third-degree assault after an incident on Jan. 8, when he pushed a victim to the ground and tried to force the victim into his car, police said.

Vincent Kloc, 47, of 466 Allerton Road, Naugatuck, was charged with two counts of first-degree failure to appear.

Christopher Flinter, 22, of 268 Babit Road, Thomaston, was charged with failure to respond to an infraction.

Eric Griffin, 29, of 69 Johnson St., Naugatuck, was charged with disorderly conduct after an incident at his house.

Jennifer Bissonette, 22, of 69 Johnson St., Naugatuck, was charged with disorderly conduct after an incident at her house.

Chelsea Hitzler, 19, of 47 East Hill Road, Oxford, was charged with second-degree failure to appear.

Roger Houseknecht, 57, of 209 Oak St., Naugatuck, was charged with breach of peace.

Patricia Snabaitis, 48, of 18 Simsberry Road, Naugatuck, was charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct for slapping someone, police said.

Steven Ambrose, 19, of 101 Miller Driv,e Naugatuck, was charged with interfering with an emergency call, disorderly conduct and criminal violation of a restraining order: threatening, after an incident on Jan. 4.

Monica Hartis, 25, of 18 Morning Mist Road, Naugatuck, was charged with disorderly conduct for yelling at someone, police said.

David Adamson, 22, of 925 Oronoke Road, Waterbury, was charged with disorderly conduct for yelling at someone, police said.

Steven Hamel, 25, of 8 Pond St., Naugatuck, was remanded to the custody of the New Haven Correctional Center.

Bradley Goddard, 45, of 151 Andrew Ave., Naugatuck, was charged with second-degree failure to appear.

Raymond Larowe, 46, of 50 Lounsbury St., Naugatuck, was charged with disorderly conduct after a physical altercation on Jan. 5.

Keith Jacobs, 41, of 50 Lounsbury St., Naugatuck, was charged with disorderly conduct after a physical altercation on Jan. 5.

Tina Teardo, 36, of 50 Lounsbury St., Naugatuck, was charged with disorderly conduct after a physical altercation on Jan. 5.

Isabelo Cruz, 32, of 11 Mulberry St., Naugatuck, was charged with disorderly conduct after breaking a door during an altercation.
