Two Men Selling Magazines in Naugatuck Are Arrested

The two men allegedly refused to leave the complex.

Residents at the 39 Horton Hill Road housing complex are likely heroes for all of the people who have ever been annoyed by door-to-door salespeople.

On Saturday at 4:55 p.m. Naugatuck police responded to a complaint from residents living there regarding Andrew Sanchez, 21, and Dylan Howe, 22, selling magazines at their complex.

Residents living there told them to leave, that there was no solicitation but both men refused, police said. Howe is accused of punching a metal sign causing dents to it, police said.

Sanchez and Howe were each charged with breach of peace and first-degree criminal mischief. Howe was also charged with third-degree criminal mischief.

They were both released on a promise to appear in Superior Court.

Add these two to the long list of "life's losers." They're going nowhere....fast! Can't see either one of these freaks becoming a brain surgeon anytime soon. How does someone get to a point in their life when they say to themselves, "Hmmm...think I'll sell some (probably bogus) magazines, disobey some no solicitation signs, refuse to leave grounds, punch metal signs and get my sorry, loser ass arrested today." Brutal....

This has always been a big security problem in condos. I owned a condo management company for 12 years in town and got numerous calls from residents about trespassers. What they usually do to get even is drop flyers at every doorstep that make a big mess and cost the association to have someone pick up and discard. Thanks Naugatuck PD for following up on this complaint...just hope this is the end of it...

Chuck, why do you post a response. You are unintelligent, beligerant and just a complete dumbass. Good luck in your own life, because you are one confused peterpuffer!!!

The only thing I'm confused about is your spelling. It is kind of "unintelligent." Beligerant? What? Huh? Is that a word?
