PHOTOS: Salem Students Meet Mrs. Dibble

Veteran Board of Education member pays a visit to the K-4 Naugatuck school to hear stories, songs and presentations.

Every year, students at get a warm visit from former Board of Education member Loraine Dibble for "Mrs. Dibble's Day."

Dibble, during her 25 years on the board, would pay visits to Salem and other Naugatuck schools to hear presentations by the students. Then, in 2005, a year after she retired, Salem School named its library in honor of her.

The tradition continued on Friday when each one of the K-4 classes filed into the library to present to Dibble.
